NOTE: There isn't a numerical/topical correlation or  progression to the papers: BR-0001 and BR-0002 aren't necessarily connected in anyway; the papers were assigned numbers as there was a need within the Community of Believers, that required they be written.

BR-0001 The Finite Tithe  20-Pages of the booklet: 4-Parts. (then 7-Pages for cover page, introduction, table of contents, poem).  Told in a story form depicting 2 American churches (Part 1, introduces Reverend Larry and First Community Bible Church: Parts 2-4 describe Broadway Church and Church of the Narrow Way):  we prayerfully hope that some congregations will be piqued to return to a more Scriptural way of financing their existence. BR-0003 is the second part of the series.

BR-0002   This number is being reassigned to a paper being written on "The Foundations."  The original paper on Islam is being rewritten and will be assigned a new number.

BR-0003 The PLAN   32-Pages of the booklet: 6-Parts. (then 5 pages for cover, introduction, table of contents: then 13-Pages of poems by David Miller).  This booklet continues with Reverend Larry, whom we first met in The Finite Tithe.  BR-0001 SHOULD be read first.

BR-0004  Did Paul Keep The Torah? Or, Was He A Duplicitous Liar?   32-Pages, 5-Parts.  Most of everything that modern Christianity has taught about the Apostle Shaul (Paul) is wrong!  Did you know that he actually had two given names?  One given to him at birth (his Roman name) and his Hebrew name given to him on the 8th day (Shaul).  He didn't through away one name...and take on the other.  Why did Paul supposedly say that "Circumcision" was wrong, but in another letter he took an adult Timothy and had him circumcised?  This paper will open the eyes of anyone who is truly seeking to know truth. (This paper is also in a 38-page book form under "Books by Contributing Authors.")

BR-0005 California's 3-Strikes Law: A Messianic Perspective    2-Pages.  Located on the: Scriptural Position Papers - Social Issues (PDF) page.

BR-0006 The Temple Of God And One Of The Reason For It  2-Pages (then 2 poems).  Most people from the Protestant world think that the Temple "saved" people by the act of sacrificing animals.  This paper corrects that error.

BR-0007 Passover: The Scriptural Minimum Essentials    8-Pages.  If you are new to being Messianic or Torah Observant, keeping the Moadim can be daunting. Especially if you are part of a group that places traditions on an equal level with Scripture.  These are the minimum essentials as outlined in Scripture - DO these first, then add tradition as you feel comfortable.  In our Passover Haggadah (for the Seder) we even mark when one of the Essentials has been accomplished during the traditional Seder.  (See MOADIM: Tools, Helps and Neat Stuff for more Passover things).

BR-0008 First Passover: Then The Rest...   12-Pages.  In YHWH's calendar, Passover (Pesach) begins the annual cycle of Holy Days (Appointed Days).  These are "Appointments" weekly and annually that God has given to us, so we may meet with Him - Our Savor...with His Chosen People.  The "religious elite" of this world will tell you that all of these days have been abolished, they will literally tell you that when God said "forever," it didn't mean forever.  This will give you the knowledge to teach them gently that they are in error.  (See MOADIM: Tools, Helps and Neat Stuff for more Passover things).

BR-0009 How Does One Make An Idol?    8-Pages.  How do we get to "false theology." What does the Word of God mean to you?  Includes 2 charts: one visually depicts Dispensationalism vs. Covenant; one depicts how post-modern pastors deprive their flocks of God's instruction to avoid pain in life.

BR-0010 Crucifixion Week: What Really Happened?    15-Pages. Most people are taught that Yahshua died on Friday and rose Sunday morning after 36-hours.  Believe it or not, this isn't the picture that is depicted in the Gospels.  Includes 3 charts for visual depiction.

BR-0011 Strawberries And RV's   2-Pages.  How many times have you heard a pastor berate his/her congregation to "dig deeper," desperately trying to mine every dollar in the Finite Tithe?  This paper simply suggests that congregations might explore other means to fund the spreading of the Gospel (spiritual and social).  BR-0001 and BR-0003 are companion pieces.

BR-0012 How To Walk In His Torah  8-Pages.  Beginner's guide describing what is "instruction," what is "suggestion," and what is "law."  Help to alleviate the confusion of post-modernism.

BR-0013 How To Start A Messianic Congregation, Part I   12-Pages.  Alternate Title: "So You Want To Start A Messianic Congregation?"  This is Part I of a series.  The premise for every part of the series is leadership.  There needs to be a plurality of leadership that: can listen, listens, lead, learn, and teach.  This was written after BR-0001 and BR-0003 to provide a "How to," discussion: this series isn't meant to be a blueprint, rather the series is meant to provoke prayer, thought, and discussion.

BR-0014 Shavuot: Minimum Scriptural Essentials   4-Pages. Since YHWH allowed the stone Temple to be removed, how do we keep these Moed?  Are there still things that we can DO?  What are they?

BR-0015 Why Am HaDehrek?    4-Pages.  This is the name of our small local Congregation and Torah Study Group.  The question asked (and answered) is "why do you want to start a Congregation?"  The answer had better be: "to lead people to the Savior, then to equip, encourage, build-up, edify, and exhort the Body."  This could be part of the "How To Start A Messianic Congregation," series.

BR-0016 How To Start A Messianic Congregation, Part II    4-Pages.  Alternate Title: "Gifts, Authority, and Power Pitfalls."  This is Part II of a series.  This is a simple paper about "talents" given to you by YHWH and empowered by the Ruach HaKodesh (not your Pastor or Rabbi).

BR-0017 How To Start A Messianic Congregation, Part III   2-Pages.  Alternate Tiles: "Gifts and Authority, Additional Thoughts."  This is Part III of a series. A very simple 1-page paper with another page containing a chart "What Does It Mean To Know God?"  There are talents like preaching, and talents like repairing cars: both are equal when used for the Kingdom.

BR-0018 How To Start A Messianic Congregation, Part IV  32-Pages.  Alternate Title: "Exactly Who And What Are We In The 21st Century?"  This is Part IV of a series.  By looking at ministries that have gone horribly off track, perhaps we can focus 20/20 on what a Scriptural ministry should look like.  There is a 54-page version (with poems) located on the "Books By Contributing Authors" page, under the alternate title.

BR-0019 Kosher Food Symbols    2-Pages.  Brief overview of "Kosher" vs. Scriptural dietary.  Includes some of the more common Kosher symbols.

BR-0020A How To Start A Messianic Congregation, Part V-A    8-Pages. Alternate Title: "How Do We Govern."  This is Part V of a series.  This paper lays the groundwork for answering the question, "what is a shepherd?"  The next questions are how do we choose those who would be Rabbi's, Pastor's, Elder's, and Deacon's: and, what form of government is put forward in Scripture?  These are covered in parts B-C.

BR-0020B How To Start A Messianic Congregation, Part V-B    12-Pages. Alternate Title: "How Do We Govern, Part 2."  This is Part V of a series.  This paper answers from a Scriptural point of view, "What form of government is a congregation supposed to have?" The next paper (C) deals with how we choose those who lead us.

BR-0020C How To Start A Messianic Congregation, Part V-C    43-Pages.  Alternate Title: "How Do We Choose Those Who Govern?" This is Part V of a series. This section is the longest and it covers "how does Scripture instruct us to choose Rabbi's, Pastor's, Elder's, Deacon's, etc."  YHWH always chooses, but congregations have to recognize "who" and "what" makes a good shepherd.  There is a 43-page book form located on the page, "Books By Contributing Authors." This is a very important subject, one that is too often bypassed.

BR-0021   Being Written On The Subject Of:  - Is It Passover or Communion?

BR-0022 Candle Lighting & The Sabbath, Women's Studies Part I   13-Pages. What are the "traditions" for lighting the candles? What do they mean?  Are they good to DO?  How can a Messianic relate to the traditions of the Rabbi's?  This paper answers several of these questions concerning several traditions.  Including the idea that there is no commandment that says we should "kindle the Sabbath lights." Located on the MOADIM: Tools, Helps and Neat Stuff page.  This is a simple to read paper with lot's of good information.

BR-0023 Hanukkah: Why Celebrate It?   12-Pages. In-depth discussion of why Hanukkah matters today, why we can trust the Scriptural and historical accounts, and why the keeping of Christmas is really about assimilation into the world: while observing Hanukkah is a statement about anti-assimilation.

BR-0024   Being Written On The Subject Of: The Sabbath Preserved.  It will take head-on a pernicious little booklet put out by the SBC "The Day Changed, The Sabbath Preserved."  Beloved, the day was never changed by God.

BR-0029 How To Start A Messianic Congregation, Part VI    8-Pages.  Alternate Title: "Some Things From The Business World That “Churches” Should Heed" This is Part VI of a series. When I first published this, an Orthodox Messianic Rabbi criticized it by saying I was espousing that the "church" become a business.  He obviously didn't read it.  As always, I stand with the Prophet Jeremiah, "woe to you who teach that God isn't enough."  We should trust God, we should trust the Sages who have walked before us, we should trust and have confidence in our leaders, and in those people to whom God gives talents and gifts to minister within the Body of Messiah. Lot's of "activity" at your Church or Synagogue...doesn't mean that anything "real" is happening.  Based always upon the Word of YHWH and not emotion and certainly not the traditions of men.

BR-0030A Christmas    4-Pages.  The first of a series about this winter holiday.  This paper deals with the timeline of Elizabeth and Mary's pregnancies.  If you're going to discuss Xmas with people who don't appreciate the clues and truth contained within Scripture...we suggest you try it during the months of Summer. BR-0031 The UMJC Decision...BOOM! 2- Pages.  A very simple and Scriptural rebuttal to a very, very long decision by the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations (supported by: "Warm & Fuzzy Rub-Up Against Israel groups) espousing the age old faux-Pharisaic tradition that Gentiles have little or no-part in Torah, and/or Jewish traditions. Yahshua and His Apostles fought so very hard to tear down the dividing wall of Ephesians 2, and yet Evangelicals and some Messianic's want to keep building it.  If you don't understand what "Torah" is...this very, very tiny paper may help you to see why YHWH so lovingly crafted it for us.

BR-0032 The Sacrificial System 8-Pages.  It is a widely held belief that people in the "Old" Testament era were saved by works, and the sacrifice of beasts.  This is a lie.  They were Saved by faith in Messiah just as you were.  This paper provides with with graphs and charts so you will be able to make sense of the Sacrificial system.

BR-0033 Progressive Revelation 2-Pages. Q. How Was Abraham Saved? A. He Drove.  Just Like You And Me! <LOL> There is a lot of misinformation about how people were Redeemed in the "Old" Testament period. Many people actually think that the people in the "Old" Testament were saved by sacrificing animals and obeying the commandments! <LOL>!  Actually they were Saved just like you and I were...by faith.  A very simple paper to read.

BR-0035  New Moons or Barley Harvest    82-pages.  Have you ever heard that Nisan 1 is determined by the Barley Harvest?  Have you ever observed Passover an entire month before some of your friends?  This book shatters the ancient and modern myth that Nisan 1 is determined by Barley.  The New Moon determines all of our months and Barley has nothing whatsoever to DO with it.  Companion piece is BR-0043.
